Armenia, But Not The Country

The tour group

There view of the butterfly garden from a tower

Definitely the most eclectic bar I've been to
The bus made it to Armenia around 5:30 in the morning. Unfortunately the wine did not work to help us sleep through the night. We then took a taxi to our hostel to drop off our bags and find food. Fortunately, they let us check in even though it was super early. So instead of food, we slept for a few hours to try and recuperate. Then we explored the city with our fellow hostel roommates. After some coffee, we took a bus to a botanical garden in a nearby town. It felt so nice to be in the woods again with fresh air and chirping birds. The tour of the gardens was fascinating, even if we couldn't understand what the guide was saying. The butterfly garden was especially fun. Then we headed back, made some dinner, and headed to Fabienne's friend's place. It was interesting being in an apartment full of Americans. I forgot for a second that I was in Colombia. Later in the night we headed to a bar for some drinks. Twas a good time!
