Day 90 - Kitty Cat

My brother put a trail cam out by our fort. Decided to check it for the first time in about 4 months. Saw some pictures of deer, squirrels, and foxes. Then, apparently we were visited by a bobcat. Sweet!

Day 89 - To Infinity and Behound

Bark Kent: International Dog of Mystery.

I had a larger vision for this one, but I think I prefer these.

Day 88 - First Try Best Try (Or: The Dab Trumpet)

4 days and 650 miles later, I'm finally back in Western Mass. Excellent Farley boulder sesh with Tim and Jake followed by my first visit to a WMCC silent auction. Great wrap-up to a long week. Looking forward to sleep now...

Day 87 - Groton

Stopped by Katie's in Charlestown to finally check out her apartment and catch up. Then drove to Jon's in Groton to hang out with him, Mike and Todd. Was really good to catch up with those guys considering we haven't talked much since college. Also, Jon's cat might be a whiskey drinker.

Day 86 - Boston

First ever Uber ride. Pretty amazing use of technology. Unfortunately, whiskey ruined a potentially good night.

Day 85 - Bridge To Terabithia

Drove to NJ today to meet with some account managers. Meetings went really well and I finally got to meet some co-workers that I hadn't met yet. Despite getting up at 4, the foggy drive into the office was really relaxing.

Day 84 - Cleanup, Part 2

If you go to a barber, it's imperative that you get the back of your neck shaved with a straight razor.

Day 83 - Ho Ho Hot Diggity

Due to an unfortunate business trip this week, it's time to lose the beard... but I'm making the best of it. The glasses and green background are a hint at great things to come.

Day 82 - Bueno Y Sano

Post-climbing burritos from Bueno are always insanely satisfying.
After almost 5 years, I finally own a new phone. Camera technology has come incredibly far since then. This is my first camera-phone post and I can sense that this will be far more convenient in a pinch than lugging my 5D around with me everywhere.

Day 81 - Plastic Bag Socks

Soreness is an understatement today. Liza was a life saver and drove an hour to pick us up by the access road in order to save a few hours of hiking back out. Also, Kevin had a flat tire.

Day 80 - Another Mile, Mile and a Half

Camped on the AT in Kent, CT. The road to the trailhead was inaccessible so we drove up the hill and started at a different point. 4 hours and 6 miles later we finally made it to the lean-to. Was a great hike but also very tiring. We ate like kings though.

Day 79 - Springtime Lovin'

Happy first day of Spring y'all.

Day 78 - For Your Protein

My first food post. Because I desperately need people to know what I eat almost every day. I dub it "The Pizza Frittata" and it's delicious and nutritious.

Day 77 - Whippers Galore

World class setter, and now professional volume sander, Brent.
After taking 3 rest days in a row, my project felt like a warmup today. Also, the entire gym participated in Whipper Wednesday and it was amazing.

Day 76 - Póg Mo Thóin

It doesn't matter if it's St. Patrick's Day, you still need to get your daily exercise in.

Day 75 - House For Sale

Had my first real estate photoshoot today. I'll tell ya, when you don't have to worry about skin tones, blinking, funny faces, missing key moments, etc... the job is far less stressful. Wouldn't mind more of these gigs. Anyone looking for a house in Manchester??

Day 74 - Rest Day

Taking a day off from everything. Finally cleaned that mess of a room. Also filed my taxes. And yes, I'm posting one of those cliche side-view mirror sunrise pictures. An amateur photo-blog wouldn't be complete without one. In fact, it's a shame it took me 74 days to get to it.

Day 73 - Try Harder

Had a huge crew for the R.E.I. garage sale this morning. People found some good stuff. Then a great climbing session in Glastonbury. Here's Tim putting in a real solid try on an awesome 13 in the cave.

Day 72 - Oh My God, Shoes

The evolution of climbing shoes, brought to you by my Vapor Vs, Pythons, and now my new Solutions that Justin helped me find for $87 at the R.E.I. Garage Sale.

Day 71 - Map? Not Google! Paper and Ink!

On the way home from climbing last night, I stopped to help someone who was lost (he was using a map and it was awesome). Because of this, I noticed the awesomeness of the view and was able to grab a quick shot. For those of you thinking, "Hey now, he cheated. He took that yesterday"; I submit to you that the only alternative today will be a picture at the rock gym. I'm sure you've seen plenty of those already.

Day 70 - Fog is Good

Although the fog this morning made it difficult to avoid potholes, I'm embracing its presence. It implies warm weather and melting snow. Spirits were definitely lifted today. Stopped on my way to work to snag an eerie shot of this power substation.

Day 69 - Giggity

Sometimes when a sign says traffic ahead, it actually means a mile before you get to the sign. To my faithful viewers, I apologize that I've resorted to photos of traffic. I promise I'll get my act together.

Day 68 - Workin' Overtime

Worked late and couldn't think of a good photo for today. Ergo, here is a picture of my go-to gear, minus the 5D and 50mm 1.4 that I took this photo with.

Day 67 - Sore Sunday

I don't always put sugar in my coffee, but when I do I take a picture of it. Resting from yesterdays marathon and planning a bachelor party. Getting excited for Spring!

Day 66 - Mile High Suffer Fest

10:00 PM. Feet hurt. Hands hurt. And we still had 1000 feet to climb to reach our mile goal. Thankfully, with 10 minutes before midnight (and closing) we made it a mile! Now we need to rest up before next weekend's mile challenge in Glastonbury. Training for the Red River Gorge never hurt so good.

Day 65 - Flannel Tasting

Wine/Beer/Cider tasting for the wedding. Note all of the flannel contained in a single room. Also note Tim Murphy's reaction to my cider. A picture is worth a thousand words... he clearly loves it.

Day 64 - "Hey, cider doesn't start with S"

I can spell my product however I'd like to, thank you very much. Aaaaand apparently Kai doesn't need any of my Sending Sider, given that wild dyno right there.

Day 63 - That's not a prime number!

I'll tell you what, viewers... The 9-5 grind is a terrible way to spend a life.

Day 62 - Oh Spring, Where Art Thou?

Attention winter, everyone here (including Kobe) is getting real sick of your antics.

Monday, March 2, 2015

Day 61 - Roadmap Initiatives

That moment every morning when you first open your calendar and cry a little on the inside... The only cure for me is pouring a delicious cup of coffee and putting my feet on the desk.

Sunday, March 1, 2015

Day 60 - Sorta Weird Cider

Finally bottling my first cider. I'm dubbing it "BuckFuk's Sorta Weird Cider", because it tastes sorta weird. Thanks Chrish for the caps and capper. If anyone wants a weird tasting beverage, hit me up. Also got to try Justin's cider today and it's interesting how different our cider's came out.

Day 59 - Telluride MountainFilm Festival

Solid trip to CRG Worcester with the (hungover) crew from last night where we met up with Alie and Justin. Then Antonio's, Telluride Film Festival, and ABC. Long but excellent day.

Day 58 - Blokus Ruckus

Finally got to check out Anthony's place. The beers were 5 stars and the Blokus was rowdy.
