Day 212 - Taco Friday

Last happy hour on the beach... Back to reality tomorrow which, for me, is going to continue to be awesome. 

Day 211 - Beach Life

Beautiful sunset to end another perfect day.

Day 210 - I Said Hey! What's Going On?!

The inflatable pool works great in the ocean. Running out of beer is still an issue though...

Day 209 - Hole in Ten

In defiant denial of the fact that I no longer have any source of income. Had a great day on the links followed by delicious buffet with the entire group.

Day 208 - Shark Attack

The whole gang is here and the weather is still great.

Day 207 - Another Beautiful Day

I think we win the award for the first house on the entire beach to have their chairs and tents setup this morning. Ocean was 81 degrees and absolutely beautiful.

Day 206 - Rest and Relaxation

Despite some traffic, we made it to the Outer Banks just fine. I could get used to this view. Looking forward to the rest of the week.

Day 203 - Farewells

Was able to play one last game of ultimate in the park and say goodbye to my fellow Bush League friends. Went to happy hour after work with a solid group from TDP. Had a great time. On my way back to my car I was greeted with a nice sunset.

Day 202 - Swift River Shenanigans

Excellent news: The pool works just as great as a kayak. Only takes 10 minutes to blow up and I can easily fit it in my backseat. Also, found this awesome tree to jump out of during my paddle.

Day 201 - That Fence Won't Stop Cliff Jumpers

Checked out Puffer's Pond after work. Pretty nice place. Then climbed in Hadley with a huge crew which was really great. Finished the night at ABC with most of the group to celebrate Tim's birthday. 10/10 solid day.

Day 200 - Isn't a Sea Eagle Just a Seagull?

Bought a pool today! As I was testing it out, I had a profound moment of clarity. If I took the water out of the pool, I could probably use it like a kayak.

Day 199 - We Don't Need No Water

I guess sometimes trucks just decide that they're sick of shipping humans useless crap and just explode into smithereens. Either way, had a great session at the Worcester gym with Justin, Alie, Tim, Charlie and Peter. Mezcal after was delicious.

Day 198 - Night Shift Brewery

Night Shift Brewery in Boston with Mike and Brendan. Was great catching up with them. Beer was awesome too. After last call we made a great decision to get Tecates at Margarita's. 

Day 197 - Picnic in the Park

With one week left of work, there's at least one good reason to drive into the office: free food. TDP hosted a picnic in Bushnell Park today and it was wonderful.

Day 196 - Time Is Always On Your Side

After over a month of bottle conditioning, the home brew is starting to taste much better. Pretty happy with the results now. Nice treat after an unexpected 5.6 mile run.

Day 195 - Jam Is Better Than Jelly

It has been a great year for raspberries!

Who's idea was it to put the letter 'p' in the name of that fruit?

Day 194 - Parkour!

Coach Glenn will teach you how to climb hard. Due to awesome parkour style boulders, today turned into a 6 hour gym session.

Day 193 - Cannonball

Waterfalls and cliff jumping with Erin and Ashley at Enders State Forest turned out to be the perfect sunny Sunday activity.

Day 192 - Boom Boom Boom

Food truck festival and fireworks in Hartford. Good times with Erin, Ashley, Rosie and Natalia. 

Day 191 - Movin' On Out

Had a blast at the moving out party for Jacquie and her roommates. Best part was ending the night watching Pocahontas.

Day 188 - June Showers Bring July Flowers

Finally getting those Spring showers we've been waiting for.

Day 187 - 4 Day Weekend

Took the day off from work and in return, had a wonderful day. Dropped my car off at the shop, longboarded to Quabbin for a dip (sorry Boston for swimming in your drinking water), read a new book on the town common, and got some pizza and beer at Antonio's. Perfecto!

Day 186 - "That's Stupid"

Guest photographer Justin showing how close some of the boulders are to the road. The beta for this problem says that the send doesn't count if a car honks or someone waves at you while climbing. When we were on it today, some woman in her car said, quite audibly, "That's stupid". So was it a send or not?

Day 185 - Smuggs

First time climbing at Smuggler's Notch. Some really great boulders. Sent my first 2 V6s! Here's Alie working her way up the very aesthetic and tall roots boulder. Also my first time at Prohibition Pig which had sooo many incredible beers on tap.

Day 184 - Half Way There

Passed the halfway point of the project! I had Justin, Alie and Tim help me get a celebratory photo. Sparklers in honor of our country's independence day.

Update: I messed up the numbering earlier in the blog and now this post doesn't make sense. Deal with it.

Day 183 - Muh Freedoms

Pat, Kate and Dennis came over for a cookout. Which of course means I get to play with guns. On tap today was the 12 gauge. The night concluded with Patrick shooting the old grill.

Day 182 - The Mushroom Kingdom

Large mushrooms are popping up all over the yard. Good sign or bad sign?
