Day 57 - Package Variety

Variety is a crucial aspect to living a fulfilling life. Side note: each of these cost about the same.

Day 56 - Michael J Fox

Ok diary, you know what? I didn't feel like taking pictures today. Because of that, you're getting a bunch of squiggly lights from my drive home from the gym. Goodnight sirs and ma'ams.

Day 55 - Jackson Hole's Original

The best part about this photoshoot is drinking the model after.
It's also the one time retakes are encouraged.

Day 54 - Crimpin' Ain't Easy

Dear diary: After 54 days, you've made it very apparent that I spend most of my free time climbing and going out for drinks. Cheers.

Day 53 - Year Overdue Inspection

Stayed at Matt and Megan's overnight. Was introduced to Truffle's for some tasty breakfast. Then headed to Mike and Liza's where Mike got down and dirty on my Saturn's exhaust pipe. My car was so quiet after that I kept forgetting to shift.

Day 52 - Slippery Conditions

Great climbing session followed by tappas with friends followed by insane highway driving where Google conveniently took me 35 minutes in the wrong direction. Still a great night.

Day 51 - Incense and Gobos

Had a great night hanging out with Tim, Anthony, and Kim in Northampton. This shot was taken beforehand, trying out some DIY gobos for my flashes. Will have to play around with this some more.

Day 50 - Tide Comes In, Tide Goes Out

Sensational sunset on the way to the gym tonight. Unfortunately Belchertown doesn't offer many good viewpoints. Unable to do this one any justice.

Day 49 - Crux Flop

My first guest photographer post, courtesy of Erin Murphy! She caught me at the crux of the problem, the belly flop dismount

Day 48 - Frozen Death Spikes

Rock climbing isn't risky at all compared to standing anywhere near the death trap roof of the gym.

Day 47 - Plan B is the Best Plan

Was great climbing with these guys and grabbing some grub after.
Worst part: getting charged $15 for a glass of Angel's Envy.
Best part: Getting MBC Lunch fresh on draft.
Bestest part: almost sending my 5.12 project in the lead cave.
Also: Mike and Matt get tense and nervous when a lens is pointed at them.

Day 46 - Shower and Nap

Trudging through 3 feet of snow after 16 degree camping will make any man crave a shower and a nap. Only after a delicious Keira-made breakfast of course.

Day 45 - Ticket to Cozy Town

St. Valentine was the patron saint of winter camping. So Christian and I honored his holiness by building this awesome shelter under a 12 ton tree.

Day 44 - Twix Cake

Happy birthday Jakeolby Smithybutton! Also, thanks for the help pushing my car out of the snow bank...

Day 43 - The Foundry

Post-climbing beers always taste better.
Jenny giving me a death stare. Tim and Jake checking in their beers. Anthony intrigued by Tim's phone. Katherine doing her thing. Kristen and Christian in another universe. And Shayne hasn't arrived yet.

Day 42 - The Crack

Rock climbing is probably more addicting than crack. Oh also, Erin signed up for a membership today. She killed it for her first day back in years. Let's see if we can get her addicted!

Day 41 - Superia 400

I love the excitement and anxious anticipation of getting film developed. Digital photography has enabled me to learn and progress much more effectively, but there's that special feeling that can only be obtained from shooting film. On top of that, I can then take this messy pile of memories and organize them on my wall in a manner far more charismatic than Facebook could ever attempt.

Day 40 - Another 12 Inches Won't Hurt

To everyone's dismay and dissatisfaction, we got another snow storm. Today, I built one of those gimmicky clay pot candle heaters. I say gimmicky because I have a basic understanding of thermodynamics and conservation of energy.

Day 39 - Carbon Recycling

Trying to dispose of 40 empty boxes? Try using gasoline and a torch.

Day 38 - Swamptastic

Went snowshoeing behind Christian and Keira's house. One of us decided to go swampshoeing. Didn't smell good. Finished the day off with delicious pad thai, cider, wine, and challenges.

Day 37 - Call of the Wild

I should pick up a new Jack London novel. You should too.

Day 36 - Melancholia

Another snowy day. Got some free cardio thanks to a bad belt in the snowblower. Manual labor always feels good.

Day 35 - Whipper Wednesday

Every Wednesday is Whipper Wednesday! Had a great session in Glastonbury. As Anthony would say "get a little BCR action going".

Day 34 - Cruisin' USA

Trying to get to the gym and forget about work as quickly as possible. Going at least a thousand miles an hour.

Day 33 - Snowpocalypse

Got over a foot of snow today. Gotta get gear'd up to clear it up. Thanks to my neighbor for some help at the bottom of the driveway, it only took 2.5 hours.

Day 32 - Thuper Bowl

We sports'd so hard that we forgot to order the pizza. This photo is either a reaction to the interception with 20 seconds left to clinch the win, or when talking sharks and palm trees began dancing behind Katy Perry at halftime. You decide.

Day 31 - Horse Caves

Decided to go camping at the Horse Caves in the Mt. Holyoke Range. Made a fire in one of the smaller caves. With that and my trusty bourbon, I stayed warm all night despite the temp dropping to about 10 degrees.
