After a few more adventures with my bend friends, I said my goodbyes and began heading East. The destination was Moab but I had my sights on southern Idaho for some climbing along the way. But then on the way my friend Garrett (who I met in New Zealand) reached out and told me he'd be climbing in Moab for the weekend. So instead I just high tailed over to Moab.
But before that, here's a shot of the Deschutes River during a nice evening hike with Logan and Travis.
And one last day Smith Rocks. Turns out that Matt, another friend I made in New Zealand, was guiding in Smith for the summer. So him, Logan and I got on some fun classics.
And now here I am in Moab. The weather is less than ideal but we'll be making the best of it.
Also, this place still doesn't feel real to me. It's one of those places that you just need to see in person to fully appreciate everything that it is.
